Quartersawn Oak Frames
Our frames are built with quartersawn white oak which is carefully selected for its particular grain, texture and color. Quartersawn oak, with its peculiar wavy lines or ray flakes is the traditional choice for Arts & Crafts framing. Quarter cutting lumber exposes the medullary rays or flakes so typical of Arts & Crafts furniture.
